WHY I LOVE HOBOKEN! THANKS SEAN!

Yesterday I got out of the SHOP-RITE with about 40 lbs of groceries and a 7 block walk. It was going to be a tough one.
And just as I was about to head home a car pulled up and... it was SEAN! OUT OF THE BLUE! And he droved me back to my pad. No walk. No carrying 40 lbs of groceries. What a GUY! Another reason I love the BOKEN!
Bravo SEAN!
You are a good man!

"Ever wonder what you're not seeing? Each month comedians perform
pieces that have been rejected by anything from Conan O'Brien to The New
Yorker..."
–TIMEOUT NEW YORK
“Novelists, TV writers, stand-up comics, cartoonists, filmmakers,
recording artists, dramatists and poets come together for a friendly but
edgy celebration of failure.”
–LA TIMES
"A show like this is the ultimate catharsis, for sure."
--NY DAILY NEWS
"'What do you get when you display a whole bunch of stuff that didn’t
make the cut at the New Yorker, Conan, and a bevy of other shows and
publications? Evidently, some funny shit.”
–GAWKER
"In New York, audiences are finding that failure is fun!"
–ABC NEWS
"'The Rejection Show' is a refuge for the rebuffed, a haven for the
heave-hoed,
a destination for the deep-sixed."
–NEWSDAY
"True to its maxim, ‘Just because it’s been rejected doesn’t mean it’s
not good,’ the show continues to attract an audience that can relate.”
–FLAVORPILL
"On the surface, The Rejection Show is a mere demonstration of
unsuccessful work by usually successful comedians, writers, filmmakers, and
cartoonists. Deep down, though, it provides an interesting look into the
thought processes of magazine editors, network executives, and others
who wield power. Films rejected by festivals, cartoons that never made it
to press, and comedy sketches that weren't good enough for TV all
finally see the light of day, some more deservedly than others."

JOE FROM 'JOE VS WADE': THE MOVIE'S CELEBRITY CONNECTION

Thanks Diane for pointing this out after seeing part 1 of Joe Vs. Wade:
Hey Wade,
After seeing part one of your movie[JOE VS WADE] on your website [where you say that Joe worked security for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles touring company] , I remember reading something about the guys from 'Stella'
Which brings me to ask this question
Was Joe possibly the Security guard for who would become the stars of Comedy Central's 'STELLA'?
----------------------------
Excerpts from The Onion's Interview with Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain (who collectively make up the comedy group Stella and three-elevenths of The State)
http://www.stellacomedy.com/website_press/onion.htm
MIB: That's true. Michael [Showalter] was in How I Learned To Drive, which won a Pulitzer Prize. I was in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
DW: Which won a Tony.
O: What was it like touring America as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
MIB: In a word: smelly. My primary memory is that it was smelly, and that there was a lot of pizza involved.
DW: My understanding was that you were not actually in the show, but rather did the live appearances in malls and stuff before the show.
MIB: That's right. Me and Ben Garant from The State toured the country promoting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the show. We were turtles promoting other turtles.
O: Was that a fulfilling experience?
MIB: It was, actually. It was a fulfilling experience financially for me at the time. I was 18 or 19.
O: Do you ever wish you could reprise that role?
MIB: I have. Many times.
MS: Mike's wearing a turtle costume right now.
MIB: I'm dressed as Donatello.
DW: I'm dressed as Benjamin Franklin.
MS: I'm dressed as Bluebeard the Pirate.

WADE RESPONDS:
Diane,
I am not sure. Next time I talk to Joe (probably when the Yankees win the Division playoffs and the Red Sox lose - I will get a call from him), I will ask and let you know.
ITALIAN TUNA UPDATE:
It was great but has left me a bit bloated to be honest.
I actually ate it at 10am - that could be why. I was the first person all day ordering the Italian Tuna from Fiore's.
No black and white cookie, though, but I am heading to Starbucks to read and drink... yes, a black and white coffee.

See the blond guy I'm pointing to behind me? I just dumped his ass! Because I don't think he has much of a future. I mean, like, after graduation, I'm going to LA to be a movie star or Lakers cheerleader or something. I think he'll be pushing a broom at the hardware store. Loser!

NOT SURE WHAT IT MEANS, BUT... MAJOR PROPS FOR USING MY NAME:
Larry Bird: Fun facts to know and tell:
Back in high school Larry devised a system of letting his friends know which girls he secretly had a crush on. When the object of his affection would walk by, Larry would yell "Adam Wade! Adam Wade!", thus alerting his friends. So, long before his fame as THE HICK FROM FRENCH LICK his friends knew him as THE LUNATIC FROM FRENCH LICK.

HEY, HOW DID YOU KNOW?:
Wade!! How did you get my high school photo on here?!!
