GM OPTIMISTIC ABOUT THE SOX!
Sox Fans,
Don't worry. I know this sounds messed up, I know we've been playing bad. I know all the pressure is on me. But I gotta tell you, right from my GUT.... We will win the WILD CARD.
Trust me. I pinched and pawed the numbers. This is what I got:
Marty Barrett will come through.
Tony Armas Sr will hit a homer when we need it.
As long as he eats chicken before all the games, Wade Boggs will get a few doubles in the clutch.
Joe "No Meatballs please" Sambito will come through.
Dewey Evans was created by god to come through in these times.
Tommy Seaver is going to pitch like it's 1969.
The Steamer, Bob Stanley finally found a hat that fits his head, oh, he's ready.
Oil Can is talking to himself, yep he's ready to go.
That kid Clemens' rocket is ready to take off.
Geddy is gassed up and ready to helicopter swing his way to awesomeness.
Don Baylor is ready to kangaroo court his DH skills to the 10th degree.
