Ryan Belanger
I went to High School with Ryan and senior year he opened up a bike shop in his... basement of the apartment he lived in. THAT'S GUTS! Ryan then relocated to Goffstown, NH after high school and he's been at it since. Ryan is a good guy (though I never got a free bike from him).

WEBSITE "long may you run!"

My Superbowl predictions were close (from what I saw)
Tampa did beat Oakland and though I lost on every pool from work
I won the Wade family pool (guess the total points and the winner of the game).
I edged out my grandmother for the $12 prize! NO JOKE!
Shania Twain looked stinky, but Gwen made up for it.
Flipping back and forth with SNL's halftime show... it was pretty good.
Went to bed and missed Jimmy Kimmel's Show.
As for John Madden.... who was even listening to him?
alright, I have to heat up my cream of wheat.
THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY SITE!!!!!!!
January 26, 2003
Superbowl Predictions:
Tampa Bay 28
Oakland 15
SNL Halftime show will be pretty good.
John Madden will say something VERY VERY VERY off color.
Shania Twain's going to be dressed super sexy!
Jimmy Kimmel's show will be good, a little shakey, but worth seeing.
(30 minute show!)
THEME OF THIS WEEK'S SHOW
'BUMMERS, YES BUMMERS'
{1-15 minutes}
-Bill Hicks 'Modern Bummer'
Adam talks about the cold, cold, cold week in NYC it's been.
-Status Quo 'Pictures of Matchstick Men'
Adam talks about the movie 'The Tao of Steve' and about the date he had over two years ago (that was not his 'last date' by the way). But he tells a tale of a girl from Indiana, John Cougar Mellencamp, and the handshake after the date... he enjoyed the movie but the date?????? SAD! He wonders if things would be different if, in fact, he was a movie star.
-Stereo Total 'Movie Star'
{16-30 minutes}
Adam talks about his next live show
WADE LIVE!

Hosted by Becky Donohue
FREE!
-Flaming Lips 'Neil Young's After the Goldrush'
-The Calls 'When the Walls Came Down'
Adam talks about his website and the sad fact it has been a slow week (not too many visitors). He tries not to whine, but it sure sounds like whining. Poor bastard.
-Big Country 'In A Big Country'
(end)
January 25, 2003
Working at NBC Sports today. The baked ziti (free food) from Bruno's Ravioli was EXCELLENT! The weather is warming up in NYC (30 degrees).
ADAM WADE DVD PICKS OF THE WEEK
BOX OF MOONLIGHT
GREAT! AWESOME! TERRIFIC! HEARTFELT! WOW!
THE 400 BLOWS
NOT A PORNO, SWEET, AUTHENTIC!
These are both movies with heart! There are funny moments in both, but not joke funny ("Take my wife , please!").
They focus on the human condition. And the characters will stay with you long after seeing the movies.
Rent,Buy, Enjoy!
January 24, 2003
So what... no one is coming to the website this week. What are you going to do?
G'night! Bless!
Okay, good news, the boss is taking us to
VIRGIL'S BBQ
for lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YIPPEEEEEEEEE!
They're treating, I'm f-ing eating!
And what's worse is my computer at work sucks, and they won't fix it today.
I know I am wining alot today but in a half hour my boss is taking us to VIRGIL'S BBQ. I used to work there and they are real nice people at the 'PORK PALACE' of NYC. VIRGIL'S IS A NICE PLACE, they got pork, beans, ribs, brisket, banana pudding, and of course my favorite - BISQUITS AND GRAVY! Oh La La!
This has been a rough week on the ADAMWADE.BLOGSPOT.com.
Not too many people have come to visit. And after last week's
sudden surge of visits, I thought that surge would continue into this week
but...no. Not quite.
Well, I want to thank the GOOD people who have come to visit! They are the important ones.
I realize this is very pathetic. What I am doing? (thanking people for coming to the site).
Should I be ashamed? Is this entertaining? Am I a sad soul?
Should the ADAMWADE.BLOGSPOT.COM continue?
Stay tuned! All 9 of you!
January 23, 2003
CELEBRITY SIGHTING FROM YESTERDAY!!!!!!
Biff Henderson from CBS' LATE SHOW W/ DAVID LETTERMAN, all smiles
on the seventh floor at NBC walking around near the NBC commissary (sp - this blog thing doesn't have spell check and I am tired) in a brown leather jacket.
Why was he there? NO CLUE! Maybe he likes the food at NBC better.
(once again, this is not a joke!)
January 22, 2003
SHARON STONE
Did you see her at the Golden Globes? Poor gal, she looked and acted a bit loopy. The lack of people paying attention to her has REALLY gone to her head. Richard Gere couldn't even enjoy the award she presented him, and he couldn't do his 'thank you' speech without her trying to stick her head in on the camera frame ( personally I really wanted Richard to tell us more about Peace, Love, and Understanding). SHARON, ENJOY YOUR WEEK AS... THE ADAM WADE PERSON OF THE WEEK! YOU GO GIRL!
(Yes folks, I do read a book once in a while.)
I am currently reading the book '10th Grade' it's a real cool book. It's only like 250 pages and trust me, it's an easy read.
January 21, 2003
Michael Ian Black from the NBC TV SHOW 'ED' walking out of the NYC E! Entertainment Times Square studio into the office floor and then strolling by my cubicle on his cellphone totally avoiding me and "MY LAST CAROLINE'S COMEDY CLUB STAND UP PERFORMANCE" that was coincidentally (sp) playing on my desk TV.
Today is the coldest day so far. NYC feels like Antarctica. I feel like a penguin.
Penguin, I wanna be a penguin, not a regular penguin, but the king of the penguins.
Penguin, there's no penguins in the North Pole, no wonder it's so lonely and cold.
WHO is there to talk to?
Someday, I buy a ticket to Antactica, so I can be with the penguins. I know I'll fit in with them, we can shuffle our feet with rhythm.
January 20, 2003
(45 minute show 1/20/03)
{1-15 minutes)
-Bob Dylan 'Lily , Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts'
Adam welcomes us to the radio show. He talks about the cold weather and the celebrity sightings he's witnessed over the past few weeks. Steve Deniro (Robert Deniro's brother? Who drives a NYC cab?), Will Ferrel working at the Duane Reade on 43rd and Broadway (perhaps doing a hidden camera show). The Undertaker (the WWF wrestler) ording a big breakfast at the Time Square Deli and lastly Corben Bersein (LA LAW) walking our of a Starbucks on 42nd and Broadway looking around to see if anybody recognized him.
Adam then touches on the Golden Globes and how Nicole Kidman has done quite well since breaking up with Tom Cruise.
-Frank Sintra 'L.A. Is My Lady'
{16-30 Minutes}
Adam talks about his website and how this past week the hits per day have double. He is very GRATEFUL!
-Neil Young 'Powderfinger'
-REM 'Superman'
Adam talks about a TV production job he did two years in Indianapolis, IN and how he ate every night at the Spagetti Factory and finished each night off with a beer at Hooters.
-R.Dean Taylor 'Indiana Wants Me'
{31-45 minutes}
Adam talks about his show last Saturday at the Gershwin.
-Wade Live recording at the 1017 Comedy Show 1/18/02
(END)
January 19, 2003
Flashforward to after the show, (I had a pretty good set), and I was feeling confident. Damn! I wish we could've have gone out to eat AFTER the show. Just maybe... I would have been able to walk up to the nice looking girl and say, "How do you do?... I am Wade. "
And then years after, we'd get married, and on our 20th wedding anniversary she would tell me "I remember when I first met you, you had me at 'I AM WADE.'"
January 18, 2003
THE GRADUATE- great flick! Hoffman's big break! DVD has cool interviews (from like ten years ago). Worth the $. Mrs. Robinson is hot! And so is her daughter. Like I said, Dustin Hoffman's big break.
G.I. JOE THE MOVIE - Damn, this is a must see. Animation is classic oldschool stuff. Don Johnson should have been nominated for his voice-over of a military grunt.
January 17, 2003
-THE OLD BUCK!
Sat Jan 18th 1017 Comedy Show Gershwin Hotel 7 E. 27th St (between 5th and Madison) 10 pm - $5 (dirt cheap)
Have a great weekend and stay warm.
I did not see any celebrities today, but a pretty lady from 'Scores' was on the floor here at E! Entertainmnet.
January 16, 2003
He claims he daily visits the site, and actually sent me an email a few days back.
High School Teacher and golf coach.
Mr. Tafe kept me on the team for 4 years even though I totally sucked at golf.
Mr. Tafe is a good guy! That's for making me a part of the team.
Corben Bernsen (Major League, LA Law, Cinemax softcore porn)
Walking out of Starbuck's on 41st and Broadway. Copperface tan. Dyed blond strip of hair on his balding head. Looking around to see if anybody noticed him.
(I couldn't make this crap up)
((Why would I?))
At the Times Square Deli, 44th Street and Broadway.
THE UNDERTAKER from the WWF (WWE) world of wrestling.
Ordered:3 bagels toasted, big thing of egg whites, big bottle of Poland Spring water, two lollipops, big thing of OJ. Ordered in a quiet but chilling growl.
I don't know if this will be a weekly thing but today I have...
MR. WALLY TAFE, JR. --- THE ADAM WADE PERSON OF THE WEEK

BIG NEWS******
I was walking to work today and a bunch of people dressed like soda cans (Sierra Mist cans) were in Times Square and gave me a 12 fl oz. can of Lemon Lime Soda. It's nice to get free stuff. Especially when you receive it from adults dressed up as soda cans. My $10 an hour office job might not be so bad. LIFE IS GOOD! FREE SODA!
January 14, 2003
Today 13 people came to the site. And there's still about 6 hours left in the day.
I swear I could cry right now. 13 is a good number, I know this isn't an Oscar speech, though it feels like I just won a prize of that multitude. BLESS ALL YOUR HEARTS! If I had more than the nickle in my pocket I would buy you all a Coke.
Be well, have great night, come on back tomorrow! I will do my best to put a smile on your face and a tingle in your stomach and a fart out your ass!
Good night great ones!
How cold is it?
(Should Adam take the chance and finish this old school joke?)
OKAY! Here goes...
It is so cold here in New York that...
You'll hate me if I finish this stupid joke.
It is so cold that....
Forget it.
I will leave it up to you, DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS (COMMENTS).
January 13, 2003
The Jets lost last night. I saw most of the 4th quarter in Hoboken in a sportsbar where one heavy-set Raiders fan screamed at everyone "JETS SUCK."
January 12, 2003
(HALF HOUR SHOW)
{1-15 minutes}
Adam starts off by telling us this show is only going to be a half an hour because he is
hungover and hasn't had a day off in a long time. Then he says he hopes to visit California for the first time this April or May.
-Roy Orbison 'California Blue'

If you've ever seen the great movie Clash of The Titans starring Sir Harry Hamlin and that hack pretty-boy Laurence Olivier, you are going to love exclusive photos of the remake, PERSEUS starring Jason Xiggoris as 'the King', Mike Godin 'as the Greek Mike Godin' , Adam Wade as 'Perseus' and featuring NEIKO XINTARIS as 'Medusa'.
Ms Naccach-Hoff gave these amatuer movie-makers and high school 'Greek Mythology' class wonders a solid 'A+'

January 09, 2003
I should've asked if he was related. But I didn't. I wonder if it was his brother.
ps I refuse to buy dildos.
12 year study today says drinking beer, wine, spirits reduces the rate of heart-attack. But drink daily, not just on the weekends (THIS IS NOT A JOKE)!
So drink and BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH ( Insert punchline here, Seinfeld).
BIG LAUGHS! SO FUNNY! SO...ORIGINAL!
January 08, 2003
By the way, I haven't eaten yet! I'm working too hard to eat!
January 07, 2003
for under $70 (don't tell my mommy I spent that much)
in the order that I found them
*Trees Lounge - the movie we watched in Matt and Rob Hermann's basement (family room) in New Hampshire (Buscemi is the man) 1997!
*Mr. Saturday Night -I thought the idea of this movie starring and directed by Billy Crystal was interesting. I rented it when it first came to video and remember it not being so great, but I bought it for $7 - CHEAP!
*Bad News Bears Go To Japan - am I crazy? NO! I love the Bad News Bears! Was hoping to find 'Bad News Bears in Breaking Training' but had a hard time finding it.
*GI JOE: THE MOVIE - what else is there to say. I got this thing for $10! It's a cartoon with the voices of great thespians: Don Johnson, Burgess Meredith and Sir SGT. SLAUGHTER. And the special feature 25 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS! GO JOE!
*Lost In America - you gotta love Albert Brooks. This is my buddy Tom Dirshwater, at Virgil's BBQ's favorite movie.
* Bad News Bears in Breaking Training - I was about to leave and the HMV workers were restocking the shelves. They were just throwing DVD's around anywhere. I found the obscure DVD I sought out. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!
HMV on 42 St/8 Ave is have a Closing Sale 40% off everything in store!
January 06, 2003
WOW! Strike up the band! The 'Journey of Adam Wade' is about to begin.
By the way, since I've been describing everything I've been eating for lunch lately. Today I hit the deli on 44th and Broadway 'TIMES SQUARE DELI' and got ham with lettuce and tomato (asked for a little mayo but didn't get any), with oil and vinegar on a hero. I also got a bag of diet potatoe chips and bottle of cranberry juice for a whopping total of $8.41. By the way... IT SUCKED!
January 05, 2003
on a scale 1-100
'Catch Me If You Can'
83 - Christopher Walken in a very under-rated role!
Today I ate free food from NBC Sports. Grilled Chicken and Rice with Salad and a Roll! Excellent! Not much else going on. Late night I had a cheese burger at McHale's on 8th Avenue. The burger was pretty damn good. (I realize I am writing a lot about food lately).

I am trying to show that I am humble (about what I have no idea).
It all goes back to that saying that if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, does it still make a sound?
That is a great question and an even greater metaphor for this site
