Okay, I've had about 25 visitors to the site today, and I apologize for being a bit boring on the site. Today was a day dedicated to the art of WADE. In other words I spent the day working on a bunch of little things for my stand-up comedy act and I'm starting to jot down my ideas for movies (they call these things 'treatments') that have been flying around in my head the past year or so. I tried to do it alll in an organized fashion while checking out the babes in a Starbucks. Not a lot of babes there, but I got a lot of work done.
Tomorrow night I have back to back shows:

Heartburn early on a Sunday.
Yes, I am working at NBC Sports again today and I just ate saugsage (that extra 'g' in there is for 'GAS!') and ziti. MAN, It's not even 11:30 am and I'm hurting!
Not much else, last night was a quiet one for WADE. Watched PunchDrunk Love on DVD. I really enjoyed it!

Happy Saturday morning. I'm working at NBC Sports doing the scripts for the Updates. We have a new Sponser for the show 'All State.'
With a new sponser comes... so comes more free food. Today we had grilled chicken sandwiches, pickles, olives, fruit salad, cole slaw and muffins. WOW! And that was for breakfast.

Last night I also got to go to A ROAST FOR COLIN QUINN. There were only about 100 people there, so I felt really lucky to be there.
Many comedians from the show (Keith, Nick, Jim, Greg, and Ken) roasted Colin along with JERRY SEINFELD! YES! JERRY WAS THERE!
Very, very, very cool!

Okay this might be a long post or several posts, because yesterday was such an awesome day for me.
First off, George Carlin was on the show I work on (Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn) at Comedy Central yesterday. I got to meet him, talk to him, and then talk to him three other times. (no joke).
Here's what I have to say about him, I mean this guy is a legend. HE WAS THE NICEST GUY POSSIBLE. He was so down to earth and treated everyone on the show terrific!
I brought him some notes for the show, answered questions about the format, talked about the other famous Adam Wade (the black soul singer that he used to play when he was a disc jockey).
Colin Quinn (who I work for) then came into the room and he said some cool things about me to George (he didn't have to do that, that was also really neat!!!!).
Finally at the end of the show, George said, "Good luck Adam with the comedy."
I can't get the deli girl to remember my name that I've been going to for 5 years and this guy remembered me.
SUPER SUPER COOL!!!!!!!!!!

Today for work at Comedy Central I was honored to pick up Tuxedos for
George Carlin and Colin Quinn. So if you are flipping the channels and start watching Comedy Central some night, and you see both of them on your TV screen in Tuxdedos... well... WADE, this guy, picked those puppies up. And I am sure WADE will also have the distinguished honor of... returning the Tuxedos.

Tonight I performed at ArtKore at Rodeo/Rista on Washington Street in Hoboken, NJ.
I thought my performance was quite WADE***. Later on in the show I sat next to two pretty blondes. I said 'Hello" and asked them if they were there to see someone specific. They both shook their heads and DIDN'T SPEAK! I REPEAT DIDN'T SPEAK back to me, LORDY LORDY LORDY. Why? Nothing? I was just being friendly. Wow, COLD!
Thankfully not all girls are like that in Hoboken.
*** My act consisted of wishing that I worked at McDonald's with Supermodels and how my friend Jason Chillemi bought me a hotdog last year from off the street in NYC and how it made me... well, sick.

Hello good people! Summer and the humid weather are here in NYC today.

I am sitting in my apartment right now a little teary eyed (no joke). I am crying because My airconditioner is not working and it's 88 degrees in here.

Today, about 4:20pm on 9th Ave and 56th Street I saw the announcer for Late Show With David Letterman. I think his name is Alan, but I got excited and I yelled, "Hey Red!" He gave me a dirty look as he crossed the street. I felt bad because I didn't know his name and just called him red because of his hair. So I yelled, "You're good, you're good." And I read his lips "A**hole." That's what he said. Or he could have said "Aye...so."

It's SUNNY! YEAH! And I'm working at Comedy Central. This morning I took a trip up to the Bronx to visit the EVERLAST BOXING PLACE (pick up some gear for the show I'm working on). Very interesting, lotta tough guys there. I was confident and tried not to act scared. I hit a few of the punching bags and the tough guys seemed impressed. WADE IS TOUGH, TOO. I still have a buzz about the 48 visitors on Friday, an all new record. Thanks again Kristen and Linda for getting the WADE name out there.

It's rainy/cloudy again today. I am working at NBC Sports (just ate a banana). Tonight I'm hitting the town with my friend Big Dave G., he is a tough guy who makes fun of me because one night, a few months ago, we were at a bar next to the CUPCAKE CAFE and I sort of snuck in the CAFE and ate a vanilla frosted CUPCAKE. I got caught and ragged on big time. I know it's not as manly as beer, but I LOVE CUPCAKES!

Happy cruddy, rainy, awful Friday. Yes, I am off and can enjoy this great weather.
Last night I hit a local pub by my house, and after a slow start of watching the Stanford College Baseball game, I ended up having a pretty good time.
A girl sitting at the bar next to me (Kristin, or Kristen) had problems with her new cell phone. I helped her with it and soon found myself playing against her in computer bowling (on the same phone). We started talking more and then...
SHE BOUGHT ME A BEER! WOW! SHAZAM! YEAH! WE-e-e-e-e-! MERCI! THANK YOU!
I thought that was very, very nice of her (before I could buy her and her friends each a drink... well yes... closing time).
Then it started raining like crazy and Kristen/Kristin's friend/roommate Lynda/Linda called for a cab. The dispatcher on the phone gave her a rough time and I felt for her. She was a bit shaken by his rudeness. Her other friend Amy/Aimee was focused on something else at that moment.
I gave them all flyers to my show on July 28th at Caroline's (I had a sad and bad dream last night that those paper flyers now lay on the damp floor of the cab or in the comfort of a garbage can in their apartment). Ah... what are you going to do? For a few hours they were very good company... You can't ask for more than that.
So Linda/Lynda, Aimee/Amy, and Kristen/Kristin thanks for the good times! Be well! And Kristin/Kristen keep sending your resumes out on a bi-weekily basis - you will be a talent booker for a big time entertainment show before you know it! Have a little faith.

WADE TRAINS TO BE... SUPERWADE.
I got a new gym pass and worked out a few times this weekend. My 'trainer' set my work out schedule and I have 10% body fat. He said I am in good shape beside the little beer belly. I said, "THAT'S ALL MUSCLE.'
It's a fairly new gym and a lot of hot ladies work out there. SUPER WADE! SUPER WADE!
I worked out early this morning and then had a egg and bagel. Today for lunch... grilled chicken.

I want to apologize for the lack of quality that was my poem 'The girl with the crackerjack eyes' I was feeling it, I was in love, I decided to write it down on the website. It was awful, both my experienced with crackerjack eyes, the toilet paper hanging out of the back of my pants and... the actual poem. YIKES!
I am off today and plan to go now, grab a bagel and coffee, the NY Times and go read it outside and check out the sights.

Misty day today. I am off - HOORAY! My friend Jonny is going to drive me to Home Depot to get an air conditioner.
Last night I bought the wrong kind of orange juice. I like Tropicana - regular oj. I bought Tropicana - stawberry oj. What a downer. Did the Shark Show comedy show last night. Lottta pretty ladies at the show. Thought I did pretty good. THE STAND UP IS IMPROVING!

Hello, cloudy, muggy,sticky day in NYC. FREE FOOD AT COMEDY CENTRAL: cobb salad, olives, feta cheese, pita sandwiches and mac salad. FREE!
Not much else so far today. I had a great ice coffee today at
Tom's on 55th and 9th Ave. $2 and I read the NY Post there before work. Being the great guy I am... I left the newspaper there for the good guys working at Tom's to read.

Busy, busy day. Worked hard and then hit my local pub for a grilled chicken sandwich and a couple of beers. I watched the Nets game, they beat the Spurs. Go Jersey. Ed, one of the best bartenders, put my flyer for my July 28th Caroline's show on the bar so people can see it. What a guy!!!!! From the bar seat you can't read all the writing but you see a photo of me with my arms in the air which means VICTORTY! and one name... 'WADE!' Bravo! Bravo Wade. The waitresses at this pub are really nice. One waves to me whenever I see her. A smile is great... but a big smile and a wave... YEAH! When a girl raises her arm, flings her hand and fingers in the air... then shakes 'em. WOW! That's something. That's everlasting! She didn't even wait on me and I felt the want (not the need to) to give her a big tip. WADE IS THE MAN! G'night all.

I've been drinking alot of water because my allergies are acting up.
Last night, I was tired... I was worn out. I was on the ropes... I was ready to throw in the towel.
Then I went and had pork chops at a local restaurant. THOSE WERE SOME GREAT CHOPS, INCREDIBLE!
The price of these chops... $11.39. And the bartender gave me a free Sprite! Good times!
Also there were no old ladies eating soup at the restaurant.

FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH
One of the reasons why I moved to NYC was to try to make art or contribute to the world stories that make people think, smile, and just look at the world a different way. I have many influences (people, songs, movies etc). One of my biggest influences was a TV show I used to watch reruns of on Saturday nights 6pm 7pm at my grandmothers (TV 38 WSBK TV BOSTON) with my brother Matt. IT was called THE WHITE SHADOW, when people commonly ask what I WANT TO DO IN TV/MOVIES/COMEDY, I tell them I want to do stuff like the WHITE SHADOW.

Hello! Stuck working a 13 hour day at NBC Sports. French Open, Horseracing, golf, and Arena Football. I am all jocked out!
Feeling down. I found out the first girl I kissed is currently living in New Hampshire... married with two kids. TWO KIDS and one of them is..8 years old! I guess we will never get back together. I've got that Boyz To Men song 'End of the Road' in my head when I think of her and that sloppy kiss. Growing up is difficult.

Another cloudy day in NYC. Working at Comedy Central. Last night I ate out with my cousin Greg. We went to Angelo Maxies on 6th and 52nd St. We had Porter House Steaks (first time for me) as well as calamari (Had that few times before), salad, mashed potatoes (my favorite), and fried green things (kinda like french fries) and for dessert.... chocolate ice cream! And a couple of beers. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! GREG IS THE BEST!

Today at Comedy Central we had a GREAT FREE FOOD LUNCH! Grilled breaded chicken, tofu stuff (that was actually good), mac salad, Julius Caesar Salad, and hard cookies. It was AWESOME!

It's been hours since WADE officially retired from internet dating and....
I just received an email from a girl named 'TAMMY' trying to help me by signing me up for

As part of an experiment to find a great girl... on the internet (on a site that doesn't have porn),
In the past two months WADE put not one but two ads on a TRI-STATE AREA PERSONALS WEBSITE.
The Results:
-One actual date. She was a bit older than me, nice, but no sparks, and no second date.
-A bunch of emails. Some very interesting, some a bit sick. And other than that... no match.
Words of Advice for people who plan on putting personal ads on websites in the future
I have no clue. It's worth a try.
WILL WADE PULL A MICHAEL JORDAN comeback?
You never know, never say never. But right now I gotta focus on not focusing on trying too hard to try to not look like I am trying too hard to find a nice girl that is pretty, and smart and has a good head on her shoulders and........
