WADE'S DAY OFF!
Yes it's Halloween, but more importantly it's WADE'S DAY OFF! Dedicated to working for WADE.

Yesterday was tiring, but very cool! Jerry Seinfeld was the special guest comedian on 'Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn' they did the coolest act 3 ever. It will be on Comedy Central again (repeat) tonight at 7:30pm. Not to be missed.

I was 2-3 feet from Seinfeld a bunch of times, but he was in the zone and I didn't feel right bugging him. At the end of the show I said, "Great Job!" And he smiled back.

Also, Louie CK was on the show and I congradulated him on getting a pilot deal on CBS. He was real cool this encounter, and thanked me ten times after I got him some cold medicine.

Then at the end of the night my good friend SARA (NO H please!) and I saw the great John Marshall perform at the Comedy Underground (thanks Mike Birch for the directions to the place). John was really funny and then afterward we went to 'Tom's Restaurant' with John and another really funny comedian, Eric Kirschberger. - GREAT DAY!

I believe I had 66 hits today, but can't confirm this fact because I was not home to check before midnight. UGH!

I had chicken parm (free - thanks Comedy Central!) for lunch.

I am soaking wet, I'm sure I'll have a cold by the end of the week.

I just got out of work at NBC Sports and headed to the Port Authority. On 45th St, a SUV was parked at the curb with it's hood up. I walked by and saw that it was Brian Dennehy, the famous actor (FIRST BLOOD). I walked up and asked if he need to use my cell phone. He smiled and thanked me, but said, "No, I screwed up my parking brake. but thanks."

I said, "You know you spoke to a bunch of us at Associated Press four years ago. (His father had worked there in the 50s and 60s) I thought that was a cool thing to do."

He smiled again.

"You still work there?"

"Nah, they had me on the night shift, like your dad."

"Where do you work now?"

"NBC and Comedy Central."

"Good for you."

"Well sir, I hope you're brake thing works soon."

"Thanks and best of luck." Yet, a third Dennehy smile.

Yankees lost boo hoo! but i was at a bar amd my friends mike and nick bought me beers - thanks guys. theyr good people. then i talked to pretty girl. i tried playing cool but run oout of things to say. she don't sayt nothing back. so i get c*ck blocked by 20 guys thru -oput the night. somehow she always comes back the wade. but he says something like, "So when are you going back to San Diego>:?" and then suddenly silence , than she says "Sandiego, I'm from OC!" so wade goes, "I'ven't seen the show yet." and he gets blocked yet agan (wade can still talk in the 3rd person singular drunk! - what a guy!)

so it's 2am and wade's gotta work sunday, maybe you say i can't seal the de3al, but i like this girl. i'm looking for longevity. yeah i may be nuts, but i don't want a quickie, i want something real. so she leaves and says she'll be right back. i wait - sucka. so then i leave and eat cookies back at my place my grandma sent me.

i am what i am. i think i deseve a nice girl. i gotta get pasley shirts i guess to be cool in hoboken. time for bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Last night I had my final performance at the Gershwin Hotel in NYC. I want to thank Todd, Jess, and OF COURSE -JODI for coming to the show.

I'm working at NBC Sports and I just ate two chicken sandwiches with strong American Cheese, Dirty Potato Chips (Salt and Vinegar) and a little salad. - ALL FREE.

There are some people from China visiting the control room today. They are asking me many questions, I have very few answers.

36 hits today so far. Thank you, visitors to the WADE journey.

I just worked out at the gym. I walked (speedwalked) 3.9 mph for 35 minutes. I did 34 crunches. 2 sets, 8 reps on the power bicep machine. Then I walked back home.

I am pooped! But pumped!

ps My gut is still very visable.

I was picking stuff up on 42nd Street, and on my way there I saw Wyclef Jean singing on top of a tour bus in Times Square. He played two songs, and wore a red hat. I waved to him, but he didn't wave back. I will not buy his album.

We ate salads and diet stuff (FREE) and I snuck two chocolate canolis. Oh, yeah! You can't keep Wade down today.

Last night I went to a play with two female co-workers. One of them had a rotten banana in her backpack (no Joke). I felt bad for her. It was on the bottom of her backpack and everything got gross and sticky. If I had any extra money, honest, I would have bought her a new backpack. Because that's the type of guy WADE is.

Yes, I'm working at Comedy Central and there was free food today and yes it did, BITE BACK at WADE!

It was vegan food dressed as Chinese food and Wade took the bait. And he neglected to ask anyone anything.

"What is this?" I said, after I finished most of it. "I got a weird taste in my mouth and I gotta go potty bad, and fast!"

Then being the dope I am I ran back to the food and ate a big piece of chocolate cake. It wasn't great, but ... you know decent. Then again, a weird taste in my mouth, bathroom problems etc.

The cake was vegan too!

Yes folks, Cameron Diaz may have won money in the California lottery (see the prior post below), but last week when I was visiting my family in NH, my mom and I went to Shaw's Supermarket to buy whoopie pies and I bought a scratch ticket for a buck and won $10! No joke!

Happy Sunday! Wade is tired. Yes he may have nursed two beers in a four hour period last night while watching the World Series at his favorite bar that is in walking distance of his apartment, but he tossed and turned all night and now is working at NBC SPORTS.

WADE IS ENTERTAINED BY 'MUCH' VIOLENCE YESTERDAY!

Wow! I saw 'Kill Bill' yesterday and I thought is was exciting, violent, with a great story. BUT BUT BUT it can IN 'NO WAY' COMPARE TO THE RED SOX LOSS TO THE YANKEES (4-3) In yestersday's game 3 of the ALCS.

The game was exciting! Clemens and Pedro, it was violent (no severed legs, but a lot of wrassling!!!!!!), and just a GREAT STORY!!!!! (but a sad ending for me and the rest of the Fenway faithful. Sox continue to blow more opportunities, Nomar proves to be NO DEREK JETER - who is, without a doubt in my mind, and I'm a RedSox Fan, THE BEST SHORTSTOP IN BASEBALL -reasoning????? one word, "CLUTCH!")

Yes, Uma Thurman is hotter than Garcia or Zimmer but...let's put it this way, as fresh and innovative as Quentin Tarantino is... would he be able to introduce a character who was seventy-two years old, with a plate in his head, to an audience who would be 'divided' into thinking he was a:
1) dumb old man who got what was coming to him!
2) poor old buck who didn't deserve to have his huge head slammed into the turf by one of the greatest baseball pitchers in the last 50 years.

Yes, Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' has suspense and biting action sequences, but would he fail to have the cameras running when a elementary school special ed teacher, who moonlights as a Fenway Park grounds keeper, throws punches with two million dollar making Yankees in the 'bullpen'? Would he do something like that just to build the suspense?

I loved 'Kill Bill' it was a blend of many different things and I'm looking forward to seeing the second half (though I'm sure there was no need beside greed to have released it in two parts - shame on you Miramax).

But Quentin Tarantino, in all honesty, your movie doesn't hold a candle to the Red Sox-Yankee game 3, 2003 ALCS. If this game was a movie (titles: 'Kill Popeye' 'Three Men and a 72 year old with a metal plate in his head' 'Wrestlemania XX: Live at Fenway Park' 'Don't Mess With Pedro' 'Once Upon A Time in the Pennant Race' 'Reason Why WADE Owes Many People In Hoboken Beers' 'Wow, why is my buddy Nick a Mets Fan, anyway?' etc... it would sweep the Oscars... or perhaps be the favorite to win all the Oscars and... well... then get shut out and lose. Leaving the many and many backers heartbroken.

Congrats to former SNL writer Steven Cragg (or Stephen Cragg), he's in the new Subway commercials. He's really good in them. When I was an NBC Page back in 1999-2000 he actually let me go to his office and talk about comedy etc. He watched a couple of my tapes and went over them with me. Good for you Professor Cragg. Keep up the good work. Wish I was able to keep in touch with you after you moved back to the West Coast.

Today we continued to move offices at
Comedy Central.. And I ate a chicken burrito for lunch (FREE!).
It was great but I've had a gas problem all day (no joke).

My new NB sneakers are awesome!!!!!!

My sinus' have stuck around and are the same today.

I worked hard (enough already!), I realize alot of people work hard as well.
