WADE QUESTION OF THE DAY
WHAT MOVIE IS THIS FROM?

"Everybody wants to get on the Van Gogh boat. There's no trip so horrible that someone won't take it. The idea of the unrecognized genius slaving away in a garret is a deliciously foolish one. We must credit the life of Vincent Van Gogh for really sending this myth into orbit. How many pictures did he sell? One? He couldn't give them away. We are so ashamed of his life that the rest of art history will be retribution for Van Gogh's neglect. No one wants to be part of a generation that ignores another Van Gogh."

Today at NBC Sports with JIMMY ROBERTS!

Hot dogs and burgers for lunch. FREE!

I just ate one baby brownie. NICE!

And an 'A and W' Root beer!

Life is good.

I just overheard that Jimmy Roberts is wearing a NEW sweater-vest today!

My webmaster Jonny updated my home site today adamwade.com

Watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch last evening.

It was very creative and I enjoyed it. I actually worked with John Cameron Mitchell (star/writer/director), on an IFCTV project last year and he was really cool.

I just asked my co-worker Barry if he'd seen it and he said, "NO." He's a big 'Magnum PI' fan. Hedwig isn't his cup of tea.

I LOVE PENGUINS!

WHAT HAPPENED TO FRIDAY, WADE?

Yesterday I was busy (WADE WORKS HARD) and also did not have access to a computer.

If you came and visited I'm sorry!

BUT I'M BACK!!!

WHAT DID YOU DO YESTERDAY?
I cleaned up Chez WADE, did some writing, worked out (treadmill 35 minutes at 4.1 mph). Ate spicy Cuban food for dinner (I will not be doing that again for a while). I made... YES made Chocolate Chip Cookies!!! They came out really good. (I bought the cookie dough at the store, cut them up and put the dough in the WADE toaster oven.)

FRIDAY NIGHT TIME:
Hit my favoirte bar last night and talked to Tera
and
her brother John. Very nice people. John is a big film guy, we got to talk movies and sports. Sir Walter and Lady Diana were there representing. Some blonde haired girl kept calling me 'Steve' - NO JOKE!

I've been called 'ANDY' 'Angelo' but 'STEVE'? That was a first.

FREE FOOD, YES (still no free juice):
I ate a ham and cheese sandwich on a sweet roll today.

No juice today, but I did buy a cup of coffee on the street for 50 cents. It was pretty good. The bread on the sandwich however was NOT as fresh as it usually is.

Keep in mind I am not complaining.

|

WADE WAS ON TV LAST NIGHT: NO JOKE!

Yes, I was on Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn last night.

There was a brief moment where Colin dressed up as Al Franken and re-enacted a (Franken's) bodyslam of a heckler at a Howard Dean Rally in New Hampshire.

I was one of the people standing next to the heckler (played by Adam Cole Kelly - he did a great job).

So you can see the back of my head for about 7 seconds (32 seconds in VHS SLOW MOTION), and then my Oscar Performance reaction to the body slam (3 seconds real time or 12 seconds on VHS SLOW MOTION).

Colin has not yet complimented my acting chops. But that's okay, I know he will come to his senses soon and say something like, "WADE, YOU ARE THE GREATEST! YOU ARE THE GREATEST!"

WADE PERFORMS TO 3:

After performing to 4 people on Tuesday night. I did a show last night in Hoboken for 3 people. Thanks Tracy, Beth, and Ed S (Mike).

Humility!

WADE IS FEELING WORN DOWN:

Yes, I am a bit tired. I am trying to pace myself, but still work hard and do a good job. The craft service table here at work has that 'EMERGEN-C' stuff - you mix it with water and it gives you a ton of vitamins. Has anybody out there heard of this stuff????

I am reluctant to take it, but the nice craft service lady said it should be fine. I need a little boost. BUT A HEALTHY BOOST! THAT I DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR! This might do the trick.

DOES WADE EVER STOP?:

I am filming this thing tonight that will be in an ART SHOW IN BERLINGTON, VERMONT this March. (more details soon)

TACO DAY AT WORK!
Forget the lose of free juice, today we had TACOS!

THE TACOS WERE AWESOME!

I am happy!

Caliente!

"""THE 80s versus the 90s. FASHION FIGHTS"""

Speaking of 'hot'... 'hot air' that is my good buddy Jeremy T. is throwing the verbal tacos around like they're going out of style.

VERBAL TACO= stupid comebacks that just... well... don't make any sense.

Jeremy said I looked like an Eddie Vedder grunge wanna-be today. Those are fighting words.

Jeremy is a good guy, but 1980, it wants its dresscode back
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOA! Flocking Seagulls wants it wardrobe back now, duuuuuuude.

Fighting words!

|

I didn't know this but Monday we had 97 visitors to this site. Yet, another record breaker. My hope is to someday break 100! And that could happen soon.

EXCITEMENT:
I will getting a new computer sooner than later.

JUICE SITUATION:
I spent $1.39 for apple juice today, because my workplace just buys Cokes and a whole lotta milk!!!! I have no problem with it. I am just happy to be working. I work with nice people who give me free lunch.

Just not free juice.

I would move on from this, but.... I LOVE FREE JUICE! It's killing me!

STILL NO JUICE AT WORK - WEEK 3!

Eating "just" a Tuna Sandwich on a sweet roll for lunch here at Comedy Central.

People were thinking I was crazy putting all kinds of food onto one FREE sandwich (taking advantage of the system), so now it's just FREE TUNA!

BIG SUNDAY AT NBC SPORTS!

Just ate a grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. FREE AND DELICIOUS!

Last night was a wild one for WADE!

Went to a play with my friend Heather. The acting was "interesting". SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT! Lotta shouting!

Then around 12:30 am I met my buddies Ed, Ed Jr., Jonny, and Moran in Hoboken and drank 3 Sprites!!!! (I got a little head cold - I'm watching myself).

Around 1:30am I was ready... I was ready to help tend bar ay my favorite Hoboken Bar. I put on an apron and...

I put a bunch of napkins down for people to put their drinks on. I gave a few girls those cherries they put in drinks. I learned how to light up a match from a matchbook with on hand (like a finger snap) --- I BURNT MY THUMB (it still smells like sulfur). I met this cool guy Dennis and 4 LOVELY ladies and they really helped me learn the match trick. I lit up a few girls cigarettes. I was living life to the fullest.

Then I bussed a couple tables (collected empties), and flipped around some straws. I FELT LIKE TOM CRUISE IN COCKTAIL! The women in the bar couldn't keep their eyes of TOM JUNIOR (me).

When I decided it was time to leave... I got a huge ovation. Then I realized it wasn't for me, but for Sir Walter, yes, the Hoboken Icon had just entered the bar, with Big Joey and the beauties from the Jersey Shore.

Last night was a good night.

WADE MOVIE REVIEW:

NETWORK

I've been dying to see this movie. I've been working behind the scenes in TV for over four years and I wish I had seen this movie sooner. I know PT Anderson has said this movie gave him...

(I gotta do some work, be right back)
