REV RUN OF RUN DMC AND WADE RAP
Recently, I was lucky enough to have a 'one question interview' with HIP HOP / RAP ICON, Reverend Run of RUN DMC.
I've always been a huge fan of RUN DMC (had the Adidas sneakers) and was very excited to meet him.
Rev Run was a real cool guy.

BREAKING NEWS:I'm happy to say that the Italian Tuna movie I made with Chelsea Peretti was mentioned today on the GOTHAMIST website.
While I am at it, thanks Vinny, Anthony and Jonny for getting me an Italian Tuna Sandwich from Fiore's yesterday and getting me an extra 1/2 pound container (and a roll) so I could have another sandwich today. BRAVO!

HAZEL MAE IN ACTION AT HOBSONS IN HOBOKEN
This past Friday night I went to Hobson's in Hoboken with Sir Walter and Cousin John (aka Rambo).
We went there because they have all the baseball games on their flat screen TVs. I was watching the Red Sox (the game where they blew the 6-2 lead).
When NESN's Hazel Mae came on the TV a bunch of people in the bar gasped "Who is she?"
I was happy to let them know.
FYI HAZEL: Sir Walter and Ed Shirak Sr are big fans too.

WADE BOWLING ON A DATE - SEE IT THIS THURS
I kid you not. After my post about wanting to go out on a date and bowl, things have been crazy.
I just got back from the gym and walking home a female Hoboken-ite (name with-held) screamed, "WADE, I LOVE TO BOWL."
As much as I would like to go bowling with every girl that wants to go bowling with me
(3 and counting), I see it only fair to post REAL video footage of me on a date... and bowling!!!!
This is not a joke.

I MISS BOWLING, THE EXCITEMENT!
After watching the movie HITCH (not a joke, I watched it this week), I realized that a few things:
-I should have gone to bed and not stayed up until 4am watching it.
-I need to go on more exciting dates, like scuba horse riding (aka water jet skis).
-I miss bowling (no I don't think they bowl in this movie, but I just miss it).
-Ladies, Is scuba horse riding as exciting as bowling... datewise?

SUNDAY NIGHT DINNER WITH COUSIN JOHN AND THE ENFORCER
Last night, three tough guys went out to dinner in Hoboken.
These two guys, Brother Jeff (aka THE ENFORCER aka THE #1 DART PLAYER IN HOBOKEN)
and COUSIN JOHN (aka RAMBO).
The other tough guy... well, me.
We ate at this place called BAJA. I had tacos (no cheese - I'm on a diet). They were good.
I had two Margaritas (light on the booze), and 2 waters.
CARVEL ICE CREAM IN HOBOKEN?
I overheard two people talking yesterday on Washington street and one of them was saying that CARVEL ICE CREAM(yes, a WADE FAVORITE), is coming to HOBOKEN!!!I have been a CARVEL fan my whole life. Wow, this is sweeeeeet news.

I was an NBC PAGE in 1999-2000 and continued to work at 30 Rockefeller Plaza until 2005. During that time I was lucky enough to know, TOM WADE.
Yes though not related, we both had the same last name and we would always address each other as... "Mr. Wade." He always made me feel important.
Tom did many different jobs at NBC, but we never talked about work when I'd see him in the elevator or in the hallways. We always seemed to talk about the weather.
I would always say "Boy, it looks like snow." And he'd laugh and pretend he was scared. "Don't say the 's' word." He'd always respond. Tom really hated the snow.
I know Tom will be missed dearly at NBC. He was 'one of those guys who made the world a better place' at NBC.
